I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-12- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE TO THE RAMSEY CITY MAP <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in 1972, when the segment of 169th Lane west of Baugh Street in the <br />unplatted Section 7 was originally established, the signage assigned to that street read "169th <br />Avenue;" and all homes built at that time, and since, have been assigned 169th Avenue <br />addresses; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in November 1997, Anoka County Elections advised the City of Ramsey <br />that the City Map, which refers to 169th Lane, does not coincide with the addresses of the voters <br />who reside at this segment of"169th Avenue"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in December 1997, the Anoka County Surveyor's Office agreed to amend <br />the Ramsey City Map and effect the change of 169th Lane west of Baugh Street in the unplatted <br />Section 7 to read "169th Avenue." <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the change in the Ramsey City Map <br />renaming a certain segment of 169th Lane to 169th Avenue. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 13th day of January, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
