ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> The Ramsey Economic Development Commission conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, <br /> February 5, 1998, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br /> Minnesota. <br /> <br /> Members Present: Chairperson David Kent <br /> Commissioner Chris Riley <br /> Commissioner Lydia Scheiber <br /> <br /> Members Absent: Commissioner Harlan Anderson <br /> Commissioner Carolyn Nelson <br /> Commissioner Kenneth Wagner <br /> <br /> Also Present: City Administrator James E. Norman <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Chairperson Kent called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. with the members present. As three <br /> members were present, the Economic Development Commission proceeded without quorum. <br /> <br /> VISION OF COMMISSION <br /> <br /> A discussion ensued between the Commission members and City Administrator Norman <br /> regarding the history, focus and staffing of the Economic Development Commission. The <br /> Commission briefly discussed its input into the Comprehensive Plan. A suggestion was made <br /> that a goal setting and role development of the EDC be established for the regular March meeting <br /> of the Commission.
