I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />RB CASE <br /> <br />UPDATE ON ANOKA COUNTY 2015 TRANSPORTATION PLAN <br /> By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Anoka County is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Transportation Plan. A single <br />copy was made available to the City of Ramsey, and the Road and Bridge Committee reviewed <br />the major elements affecting the City at its December 16, 1997 meeting. Direction was made at <br />that meeting to submit a written response to the County with regard to three specific issues. <br />Attached is the response letter which I prepared at the Committee's direction. <br /> <br />Also the Committee requested a meeting with Anoka County to discuss some of these issues, <br />particularly the proposal to upgrade Highway gl0 to a four-lane freeway east of Armstrong <br />Boulevard. I have contacted both County Engineer Jon Olson and County Commissioner Dennis <br />Berg who have indicated they will be in attendance at the meeting.
