Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-03- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING RELATING TO HIGHWAY #t0 ACCESS CONTROL AT BURGER KING SITE WHEREAS, the City concurs that providing safe and efficient transportation is in the best interest of the public; and WHEREAS, the City has an opportunity to work with the State and the developer of the proposed Burger King site at the intersection of Highway #10 and County Road #56, to provide a safer access point than existing property rights allow; and WHEREAS, a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding has been presented to the City to facilitate the above. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That the City Administrator be authorized to enter into the Memorandum of Understanding relating to this project. 2) That the City staff be directed to facilitate the necessary discussions between the Anoka West Pet Hospital and the Burger King developer to achieve a safer, combined access. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: - ~ and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the loth day of March, 1998.
