Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-03- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING RELATING <br />TO HIGHWAY #t0 ACCESS CONTROL AT BURGER KING SITE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City concurs that providing safe and efficient transportation is in the <br />best interest of the public; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has an opportunity to work with the State and the developer of the <br />proposed Burger King site at the intersection of Highway #10 and County Road #56, to provide a <br />safer access point than existing property rights allow; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding has been presented to the <br />City to facilitate the above. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />l) <br /> <br /> That the City Administrator be authorized to enter into the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding relating to this project. <br /> <br />2) That the City staff be directed to facilitate the necessary discussions between the Anoka <br /> West Pet Hospital and the Burger King developer to achieve a safer, combined access. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: - ~ <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the loth day of March, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
