PUBLIC It-EARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, March 12, 1998, at the <br />Ramsey Mtmicipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, ~_mnesota to hear input <br />regardir:~ a request for a Conditional Use Permit to Establish Accessory Outdoor Recreational Uses <br />to a Restaurant and Bar, Case of diamonds Sports Bar & Grill, Inc. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Sharon Jensen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Comrnissioner Michael Terry <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Joe Wivoda <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Community Development Assistant Scan Walther <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Deemer convened the public hearing at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated the applicant is proposing to develop a sports bar and restaurant <br />that will include three outdoor softball fields and five volleyball courts for use in the summer and <br />three broomball courts for winter use. The property is properly zoned for eating and drinking <br />establishments.
