I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> <br />CASE # <br /> <br />REPORT OF T.H.//47 STP PROJECT <br /> By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the last Road and Bridge Committee meeting, it was reported that the City had received <br />approval of the City's proposal for the T.H. #47 Surface Transportation Program (STP) project. <br />At that meeting it was recommended by the Committee, and favorably acted upon by Council, to <br />authorize the hiring of the firm of SRF, Inc. to prepare the plans for the project and related <br />permits. Work has commenced with letters to the following governmental agencies requesting <br />information and input on the proposed project. <br /> <br /> · US Natural Resources Conservation Service <br /> · Minnesota Pollution Control Agency <br /> · Minnesota Department of Natural Resources <br /> · Anoka County Health and Environmental Services <br /> <br />The attached letter has been sent to the property owners along the length of the project to advise <br />them of the anticipated project schedule, and to advise them that more information will be forth <br />coming on property acquisition. Surveying work for the project should begin early the week of <br />March 16. <br /> <br />At 1:00 p.m., on March 17, 1998, a meeting is scheduled with a number of MnDOT <br />representatives who will have involvement in this federal project. An oral report will be <br />presented at the meeting later in the evening.
