City Engineer lankowski suggested the City ace~-,pt the five feet being offered. <br /> <br />Acting Chairper~n Deemer noted the need/'or the developer to construct all of the roadways. City <br />Engine~,l'ankowski stated the applicant must install Traprock to serve the building. <br /> <br />Mr. Gruber reviewed the alignment of the 42 foot roadway they will blacktop. He stated he does not <br />know what is entailed with regard to the turn lane rehting to their responsibility and the cost of it. <br />He asked that he be allowed to work with staff'on that issue. <br /> <br />City Engineer lankowski stated it is true that in the past the City has required the developer to hstall <br />all roadways. However, in this case, there are a lot of roadways for this size of parcel so, perhaps, <br />some consideration should be given. <br /> <br />Ax:ting Chairperson Deemer stated the road map being referred to is not pan of thc City's <br />Comprehensive Plan, City Engineer lankowski explained that it is the MSA road plan which is <br />updated from time to time. <br /> <br />With regard to the right-of-way for 1Liverdale, City Engineer lankowski recommended it be platted <br />as an outlot and dad/crud upon request. Mr. Gruber stated bis cone, em about dedicating the right-of- <br />way which would restrict his use of thc property but require Ixim to pay taxes on it. He stated he <br />prefers to ghte the right-of-ray to th~ City now. City Engineer Jankowski suggested it be platted as <br />an outlot and given to the City, <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue, seconded by Commissioner 3'ansan, to approve the sketch plan for <br />The Diamonds and recommend the City Counzil grant final plat approval to same contingent upon <br />compliance with City Staff'review letter dated March 9, 1998 and the Riverdale right-of-way being <br />platted as an outlot and given to the City upon filing of the plat. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
