Councilmember RESOLUTION introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-04-. APPROVING PELTZER PARK~S REDEVELOPMENT AND AWARDING THE PLAY EQUIPMENT BID WHEREAS, at the time of platting the Regency Pond's subdivision, it was recognized that PeItzer Park would not support the recreational needs of the additional families in the neighborhood; and WHEREAS, park dedication proceeds from Regency Ponds were allocated to the Recreational District which contains Peltzer Park; and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission, at their April 9, 1998 meeting, has recommended approval of a park plan and budget which is incorporated herein by reference. NOW THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes City staff to provide for the re-development of Peltzer Park pursuant to the Park and Recreation Commission's recommendation, including purchase of play equipment from k:f/~ f/d. ~7~ ~t./KYy --~'fg~, (~ The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of ApriI, 1998.
