Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #98-04- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING AND AWARDING BID FOR THE 1998 ANNUAL SPRING <br />PET CLINIC : <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has advertised and received bids for the opportunity to <br />serve as the exclusive veterinarian for the City of Ramsey at its 1998 spring pet clinic. The <br /> <br />following bid was received: <br /> <br />Veterinarian Shot Cost <br /> <br />AMVET <br />15670 NE 90th Street <br />Elk River, MN 55330 <br /> <br />Rabies (canine & feline) $3.00 <br />DHLP-P (canine) $9.00 <br />Pan RC-C-P $6.00 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby awards the opportunity to serve as veterinarian for <br /> the 1998 City of Ramsey Spring Pet Clinic to AMVET - Elk River Animal Hospital. <br /> <br />2) That the City of Ramsey should add a slight increase to the cost of the shots to help <br /> defray the cost ofstafftime. <br /> <br />4) That it is mandatory in the City of Ramsey for pet owners to license them, Council <br /> authorizes lowering the license fee to $3.00 for neutered/spayed and $5.00 for non- <br /> neutered dogs and cats (on the day of the Pet Clinic only). <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:. <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14th day of April 1998. <br /> <br />1-17 <br /> <br /> <br />
