April 17, 1998 Dear Resident, As a property owner adjacent to the T.H. ~,47 STP Project which extends from 142nd Avenue through 153rd Avenue along T.H. ~-47, you received notice in mid-March that a public information meeting was soon to be scheduled. This letter is to inform you that an initial public heating for this project will be held on Monday, May 4, 1998, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at City Hail. The hearing will have an open-house type format where a brief project report and a preliminary layout plan will be available for review. You are encouraged to fill out comment cards the evening of the meeting and written comments will be accepted for a period of thirty days after the hearing. This will be one of two public hearings on the project. A second hearing is anticipated for August, after the environmental assessments have been completed. For those property owners from whom a property acquisition will be necessary, the City has initiated steps to retain a consultant to assist in this task. We anticipate having the consultant present at the May 4 meeting to provide information on the acquisition process. I look forward to your participation and input on this project.
