I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />UPDATE ON C.tL #I 16 (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #97-25) <br /> By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The extension of C.R. gl 16, between Ramsey Boulevard and Armstrong Boulevard, has been <br />scheduled for construction for late summer, 1998. (Bids will be opened in July.) The County <br />has hired SRF to prepare the plans and specifications for the roadway. The City of Ramsey is <br />providing fight-of-way for the project and has initiated actions to address wetland mitigation <br />which has been determined to be unavoidable. <br /> <br />At the present time, the City has passed an eminent domain resolution for the fight-of-way and <br />land required for wetland mitigation. Appraisals have been completed and Attorney Goodrich is <br />negotiating the fight-of-entry.
