Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-04- RESOLUTION APPROVING 2ND PARTIAL PAYMENT TO SYSTEM CONTROL SERVICES, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-24 (WATER UTILITY SCADA [SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION] SYSTEM) WHEREAS, on June 24, 1997, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #97-06-158 approving the plans and specifications for the water utility SCADA [supervisory control and data acquisition] system (Improvement Project #96-24); and WHEREAS, on August 12, 1997, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #97-08- 197 awarding the bid to System Control Services, Inc. for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, previous payment has been made to System Control Services, Inc. for Improvement Project #96-24 in the amount of $2,843.35; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to System Control Services, Inc. in the amount of $11,779.17. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to System Control Services, Inc. for the water utility SCADA [supervisory control and data acquisition] system (Improvement Project #96-24) in the amount of $11,779.17. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of April 1998. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same:
