I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />The Ramsey Public Works Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, April 29, <br />1998, at the Public Works Building, 14100 Jasper St. N-W, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Dean called the meeting of the public Works Department to order at 8:00 a.m. In attendance was <br />Dean Kapler, Merle Mevissen, Mark Boos, Grant Riemer, Mick Stenquist, Brian Ihnot and Greg <br />Talbot. The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 1998 at 8:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Dean reviewed and highlighted the April 28, 1998 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />TRAINING <br /> <br />· Consensus was that last week's Blood Borne Pathogens class was beneficial. <br /> <br />· There will be a generic training session once a month unless someone becomes aware of an <br /> interesting class they would like presented. Let Dean know. <br /> <br />· Everyone has had the opportunity to sign up for the Hepatitis B shot. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />Should have chocks and ramps for delivery tracks. <br /> <br />Gas for calibration of gas monitor is the same as the Fire Department uses. A current can will be <br />kept between the two departments. <br /> <br />LOOKING OUT (3 - 6 MONTHS) <br /> <br />Drainage Concerns <br /> <br />· 137th Avenue (grading) <br />· 137th Lane (grading and plumbing) <br />· Okapi (ditch not deep enough) <br />· 140th and Fluorine <br /> <br />· As you drive through the City, jot down areas of concern. <br /> <br /> <br />
