UTILITIES UPDATE <br /> <br />Flushing is finished. What used to be done by mid-week, now takes a full two weeks. The <br />City has approximately 14 miles ofwatermain and 350-400 hydrants. <br /> <br />Tower cleaners will be out from Montana. They send a decontaminated diver into the tower <br />with a video camera and giant vacuum to get the sediment out of the bottom. Cleaning the <br />outside needs to be done also. <br /> <br />SCADA is being worked on. Well #1 and #3 are on the automated system, and ~,4 will be <br />before the end of July. <br /> <br />Mark will write a statement regarding the water level problems for the next Department <br />report. <br /> <br />Sewer cleaning should be done soon. <br /> <br />PARKS UPDATE <br /> <br />May 17, 1998, is the date for volunteer tree planting at AEC and Cottonwood Trail. <br /> <br />Central Park irrigation system is working.
