Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING OUTREACH SIX ACRES, INC. APPLICATION FOR <br />PREMISE PERMITS FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT THE LIGHTHOUSE GRILL <br />AND BAR IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. has applied for a premise permits for <br />gambling at The Lighthouse Grill and Bar, 6937 Highway #10 NW Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. is a charity that provides customized services <br />and living options for senior, developmentally disabled adults, medically fragile children, and <br />others with special needs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Outreach Six Acres, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day <br />notice provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thc Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br />Outreach Six Acres, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at The Lighthouse Bar and Grill, <br />6937 Hwy 10 NW, Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being .taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> <br />
