ORDTI~NCE NO. <br /> <br /> CZT¥ OF <br />;FLUO~a COUnty, ~Lnnesota <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM ON THE REZONING AND <br />SUBDIVIDING OF I2~ND ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> <br />BECTION 1. PURPOSE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Ordinance 97-07 was adopted on June 10, 1997 <br />which Ordinance is entitled "An Interim Ordinance Establishing a <br />Moratorium on the Rezoning and Subdividing of Land Within a Part of <br />the City of Ra~ey, Anoka County, Minnesota": and <br /> <br /> WH~HF~%S, said Ordinance 97-07 was amended Dy City Ordinance <br />97-18 adopted December 9, 1997 which Ordinance was entitled, "An <br />ordinance extending the moratorium on the rezoning and subdividing <br />of land within a part of the city of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota"; and <br /> <br /> WH~%S, the Ramsey City Council (the "city council") finds <br />that certain property within the city needs to continue to be <br />included within the moratoriu~ as adopted by said Ordinance 97-07 <br />and extended by Ordinance 97-18; and <br /> <br /> WHER~A~, the city Council finds that an extension of the <br />rezoning and subdividing moratorium as to the parcels identified on <br />Schedule "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein is required in <br />order to facilitate completion of the City's Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendment and enable City's Plan Consultants to formulate <br />recommendations, to per, it public review and comment and provide <br />time for implementation of proposed changes. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. MOP~TORIUM EXTENSION. <br /> <br />! <br />m <br /> <br /> City Ordinance 97-07 as amended by Ordinance 97-18 is amended <br />again such that its term is extended of an additional six months <br />from and after July 12, 1998 ONLY as to those parcels of land <br />identified on the attached Schedule "A". <br /> <br />SECTION 3. ORDINANCE 97-07 TO CONTINUE IN EFFECT. <br /> <br />m <br /> <br /> Except as modified herein, Ordinance 97-07 shall continue to <br />be in force and effect for the term as described above. <br /> <br />! <br />! <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> This Ordinance shall take effect upon adoption and thirty (30) <br />days after publication according to law, subject to Charter <br />Provision, Section 5.04. <br /> <br /> <br />
