This will be a factor in the number of complaints <br />received as well as accidents. <br /> <br />With this in mind the number of complaints received in the 1997-98 season was <br />down by 52% while citations issued for violations increased 44%. The number of <br />snowmobile accidents were down significantly, from 6 to 1. <br /> <br />Enforcement was also limited but substantially more hours of enforcement were <br />invested in the 1997-98 season than in the previous season. The biggest factor <br />here was the increase in personnel allowing more time for snowmobile patrol. <br /> <br /> <br />
