I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> By: Linda Waite Smith, Administrative Services Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Public Works Department has an opening for a Public Works Maintenance Worker. <br /> <br />The position was advertised and a panel consisting of the Public Works Director, Public Works <br />Supervisor, Parks/Utilities Supervisor and Administrative Services Manager interviewed seven <br />finalists the week of April 27, 1998. Based on the results of the interviews, the interview panel is <br />ranked the candidates. On May 12, the City Council authorized hiring the first person on that <br />list. That person has since left City employment.
