I I I Councilmember __ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-06- RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-16 (BITUMINOUS PAVING AND CUL-DE-SACING OF BISON STREET) WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution #98-05-101 of the Ramsey City Council, adopted May 26, 1998, a report has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #98-16 (Bituminous Paving and Cul-de-sacing of Bison Street); and WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on June 9, 1998 which indicates the following: Estimated total cost of project $37,440 Estimated total assessment $37,440 Estimated assessment per unit (10 year term) $ 6,240 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of bituminous paving and cul-de-sacing of Bison Street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $37,440. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 14th day of July, 1998 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember __ ~ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council
