I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />:1 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-06- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ANOKA AREA ICE ARENA <br />APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT' FOR LAWFUL <br />DIAMONDS'S SPORTS BAR AND GRILL IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> ASSOCIATION <br />GAMBLING AT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka Area Ice Arena Association has applied for a premise permit for <br />gambling at Diamond's Sports Bar and Grill, 7550 Highway #10 N.W., Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka Area Ice Arena Association owns and operates a community ice <br />arena in Anoka; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka Area Ice Arena Association has requested Council waive the 30- <br />day notice provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for Anoka <br />Area Ice Arena Association to operate lawful gambling at Diamond's Sports Bar and <br />Grill, 7550 Highway #10 N.W., Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the Finance Officer to sign the <br /> application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> <br />
