Communities to the south of Ramsey on this corridor include <br />Fridley, Coon Rapids and Anoka. All of these cities have industrial parks which are at, or near <br />capacity. As a result, many inquiries are made to Ramsey's Economic Development Staff due to <br />the lack of land availability, as well as the incentive package Ramsey has been able to provide to <br />prospective industry and developers. This level of interest is not expected to decrease unless <br />there is a major downturn in the economy. <br /> <br />The table below illustrates the status and availability of industrial park property for selected cities <br />within the market area of Ramsey. The data shown represents information that was collected <br />approximately one year ago. <br /> <br />Andover <br /> <br />Yes <br /> <br />City is ~n the process of <br />redeveloping former junk <br />yard site into business park. <br /> <br />Anoka Yes Approximately 3/4 of park is <br /> developed. <br />Becker Yes Park is approximately 1/3 <br /> developed. <br />Big Lake Yes <br /> <br />Current park is full. Plans <br />are underway to develop a <br />second industrial park on a <br />joint venture basis between <br />the city and township. <br /> <br />Blaine Yes Several industrial parks <br /> which are near capacity. <br />Clear Lake No Unknown. <br />Coon Rapids Yes <br /> <br />Yes <br /> <br />Yes <br /> <br />Elk River <br /> <br />Ham Lake <br /> <br />Two industrial parks are <br />located in the City.
