I <br /> I <br />:1 <br /> <br />CASE # 4 <br /> <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #97-23 <br />(BUSINESS PARK 95 7TH ADDITION) <br />By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />This project is necessary to provide infrastructure service to the Peck development, the Northern <br />Airgas development, and an additional parcel on the west side of Radium Street which is <br />currently being marketed by the City. The plans for this project anticipated prior development of <br />the approved Northern Airgas grading plan. However, Northern Ah-gas has not commenced <br />construction, and a stormwater detention pond which was to be constructed as a part of their <br />grading plan must be added to the scope of work in order to make the storm system function as <br />designed. <br /> <br />Attached is a change order which incorporates these changes for the amount of $6,210. The <br />change order has been reviewed by th~:pi'ojeet engineer and recommended for execution, as the <br />prices submitted are reasonable. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that City Council approve Change Order No. 1 to Improvement Project <br />#97-23 in the amount of $6,210. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Public Works Director <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />R&B: 6/16/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
