CASE <br /> <br /> ADOPT ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH <br />DEVELOPMENT MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN PARCELS WITHIN THE <br />METROPOLITAN URBAN.SERVICE AREA <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you recall, on June 23, the City Council introduced an ordinance to impose a <br />development moratorium on certain parcels within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area <br />(MUSA) that have been identified by City Staff as land use sensitive with respect to the <br />comprehensive plan update in progress. A copy of the proposed ordinance and a map of <br />the affected parcels is enclosed for your information. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />In accordance with the City Charter, the ordinance is now eligible for adoption. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends adoption of the ordinance. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Ordinance #98- to establish a moratorium on the development of <br />certain parcels of land located in the City of Rarnsey, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />Community Development Assistant <br />Hoisington Koegler Group <br /> <br />CC: 07/14/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
