Incident Calls <br /> <br />The RAMSEY Fire Department responded to a total of 26 calls during the month of June. The total <br />incidents YTD for 1998 through the month of June is 18'4. The breakdown of the calls is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Fire Related 22 <br />Rescue/Personal Injury 4 <br /> <br />A detailed report of the incidents is provided later in the report. <br /> <br />2. Training <br /> <br />The following training took place in June <br /> <br />06-05-98 Live Burn 8 hr. <br /> Anoka Technical College. <br />06-17-98 Haz Mat Right to Know '2 hr. <br /> Medics Training <br />06-24-98 Defensive Driving 3 hr. <br /> Anoka Technical College <br /> <br />The following training is planned for July <br /> <br />07-15-98 <br />07-22-98 <br />07-29-98 <br /> <br />3. Major Maintenance <br /> <br />Trauma and Vital Signs <br />Fire Chief's Drill <br />Major Maintenance <br /> <br />Jet Nozzle modified to a solid design, works very well <br />New batteries for gas monitor ordered <br />Rocker switch for T1 ordered, received and installed <br />Relief valves on E1 and T1 exercised and set at 170 psi <br /> <br />4. SCBA and Medical Supplies Used <br /> <br />SCBA <br /> <br /> 3 harnesses repaired and put back into service <br /> <br /> Cascade system gone through (annual maintenance agreement) no problems found <br /> <br />Medical Supplies used <br /> 6-13-98 (2) long boards, (2) V blocks, (2) C collars, (3) 02 bottles, (3) 02 masks (all but 1 <br /> long board replaced by ambulance service) <br /> <br /> Defibrillator battery serviced and changed out <br /> <br /> Defibrillator pads expired, will order new set <br /> <br /> <br />
