I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-07- RESOLUTION APPROVING CLIMB THEATRE, INC. FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT DIAMOND'S SPORTS BAR AND GRILL IN RAMSEY WHEREAS, Climb Theatre, Inc. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at Diamond's Sports Bar and Grill, 7550 Highway #10 N.W., Ramsey; and Climb Theatre, Inc. is a theater company from St. Paul, Minnesota; and Climb Theatre, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice WHEREAS, WHEREAS, provision; and WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for Climb Theatre, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at Diamond's Sports Bar and Grill, 7550 Highway #10 N.W., Ramsey. 2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the Finance Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of July, 1998.
