Ail grading operations for Site B shall be conducted in accordance with the one (1) <br />sheet Grading Plan prepared by Ulteig Engineering,Inc. and dated June 29, 1995. The <br />proposed area in Site A to be graded is approximately two (2) acres in size, and one (1) acre in <br />Site B. Grading shall require finished grade areas to be restored with six (6) inches of topsoil, <br />seed and disc anchored mulch. <br /> <br />All equipment used for grading and hauling operations shall be maintained and operated in <br />such a manner to minimize noise, dust, and vibrations adversely affecting surrounding <br />properties. All equipment shall be kept in good repair. Failed equipment and rubbish shall be <br />removed from the work site regularly. <br /> <br />Only equipment required for the excavation, grading and hauling of materials shall be allowed <br />onto the site. Equipment associated with the processing of the excavated materials such as <br />crushers, washers, conveyors, etc., are prohibited. <br /> <br />Ail work sites shall be properly safeguarded to prevent the general public from depositing <br />garbage or other refuse on the work site. <br /> <br />Prior to the removal of trees, the City Engineer shall be notified at least 72 hours in advance of <br />the removal so that the number of trees required for reforestation can be determined. <br /> <br />Grading operations shall be conducted in such a manner to minimize interference with the <br />surface water drainage outside the boundaries of the operation. <br /> <br />Fencing may be ordered by the City Council or City Engineer anytime the permit is in force <br />and shall be installed within 24 hours of written notice. <br /> <br />All haul roads to and from Site A and Site B shall be maintained in order to minimize dust and <br />in a condition satisfactory to the City Engineer. This work shall include application of water, <br />bituminous material, or calcium chloride to the road surface as may be necessary to alleviate <br />dust nuisance and eliminate traffic hazards. This work shall also include daily inspections of <br />Ramsey Blvd. and the removal of spillage of any materials from the operation. When hauling <br />operations are completed, the permit holder shall either restore that haul road to a condition at <br />least equal to that which existed at the time the hauling operations were started, or compensate <br />the local road authority in an amount satisfactory to that road authority and concurred in by the <br />City Engineer for the restoration of that haul road. The City Engineer will then accept such <br />restoration or concur in such financial settlement for the restoration of the haul road in writing <br />and such acceptance will relieve the permit holder of any additional obligation in connection <br />with the restoration of the haul roads. If the permit holder fails or refuses to perform haul road <br />restoration or to make satisfactory financial settlement for such restoration, the City will cause <br />the restoration work to be done and require reimbursement from the financial guarantee <br />required herein. <br /> <br />The maximum slope other than the working face shall be sloped on ail sides no steeper than a <br />rate of 2 foot horizontal to 1 foot vertical. In no case shall the slope of the working face be left <br />unattended with a slope greater than 2 feet horizontal to 1 foot vertical.
