I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I ORDINANCE NO. 98- CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA oo AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN THE RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA ON THE CITY OF The City of Ramsey Ordains: SECTION 1. AUTHORITY This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to that authority granted to the City by MSA 462.355, Subd. 4, entitled "Interim Ordinance." SECTION 2. PREAMBLE AND PURPOSE WHEREAS, the City Council has engaged a planning consultant to update the City's Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, part of the consultant's efforts include the creation of a land use map; and WHEREAS, based on the studies to date, the City Council has determined that there are certain parcels within the City that are land use sensitive and subject to change in the comprehensive plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an interim ordinance placing a moratorium on the development of certain parcels is necessary to protect the planning process and the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Ramsey. SECTION 3. PROHIBITION During the term of this Ordinance, notwithstanding Chapter 9 of the City Code, entitled "Zoning and Subdivision of Land," no subdivision, rezoning, site plan approvals, conditional use permits or variances of any kind shall be permitted and no applications for said subdivision, rezoning, site plan approval, conditional use permit or variance shall be accepted on the parcels identified as follows: 28-32-25-44-0010 29-32-25-11-0003 29-32-25-11-0004 29-32-25-11-0010 29-32-25-11-0009 29-32-25-14-0010 29-32-25-14-0011 29-32-25-14-0005 29-32-25-14-0015 29-32-25-14-0012 20-32-25-44-0001 20-32-25-43-0001 20-32-25-34-0003 20-32-25-31-0001 20-32-25-32-0001
