CONSENT <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE EQUIPMENT TRANSFER PROGRAM <br /> By: David Gustafson, Police Chief <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Department of Defense has, for several years, made surplus military equipment available to <br />all levels of law enforcement. All law enforcement agencies wishing to participate must enter <br />into a signed agreement.with the Department of Military Affairs. Such an agreement has been <br />received by the City of Ramsey and has been reviewed by City Attorney Goodrich who advises <br />that the terms of the agreement do not place the City of Ramsey in jeopardy nor does it have to <br />accept or apply for any such equipment.
