This is significantly lower than the <br />Benchmark Job Value used by Personnel Decisions, Inc., the firm that processes our Time <br />Spent Profiles in order to determine appropriate point values for various positions. <br /> <br />An updated Time Spent Profile (TSP) was completed by the position incumbent, with the <br />assistance of the Administrative Services Manager. The TSP was then reviewed by the <br />Inspector's supervisor and the City Administrator before it was forwarded to Personnel <br />Decisions, Inc. for processing. The re-evaluation of the position indicated that it was <br />classified too low and should be at level 11. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Recommend that City Council approve reclassification of Inspector position from level 8 <br />to level 11 of the Classification/Compensation Plan. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />Administrative Services Manager <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />Copies also distributed to: <br />Inspector <br /> <br />PC: 8/11/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
