Staff attempted to notify properties within 700 feet of the public hearing pertaining to <br />the request. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The site is zoned B-1 Business and so are the surrounding parcels. The applicant is proposing to <br />install a 6 foot diameter satellite dish antenna, 2-8 foot stick antennae and one 6"-8" diameter <br />GPS antenna on the City water tower. There will also be two 6' x 2' x 2' equipment cabinets <br />that are proposed to be stored in the water tower equipment room and therefore no screening of <br />the equipment cabinets will be required. There will be no personnel stationed at the site on a <br />permanent basis. The permit is drafted to require any visits to the site to be in the company of a <br />City employee. The existing site access is sufficient for PageMarts needs. <br /> <br />The City Council approved the proposed lease agreement with PageMart at their July 28 Council <br />meeting. The City will receive $1,000.00 per month from the tenancy. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing regarding the request for a conditional use <br />permit on August 4 and no written or verbal comments from the public were received. <br /> <br /> <br />
