Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City obtained a right-of-way to construct two municipal wells on property currently owned <br />by Jack Menkveld. Construction on Well No. 3 was initiated in September 1996 and the final <br />work on Well No. 4 will be completed within weeks. The property owner has requested payment <br />for the land, which amounts to two 100-foot by 100-foot parcels. The land owner is proposing <br />payment of one dollar per square foot, or $10,000 for each well site. <br /> <br />The City Attorney is soliciting advice on the proposed price.
