I <br />I <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />AWARD CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-18 <br />BUSINESS PARK 95 5TH ADDITION <br /> SEWER, WATER AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br /> By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Improvement Project #98-18 consists of the installation of approximately 1,000 feet of <br />street, water and sanitary sewer, and storm water improvements associated with the <br />construction of 140th Avenue NW in the City's Business Park 95. This project will <br />complete a roadway loop in the Business Park 95 Industrial Park between the northern <br />end of Radium Street and Unity Street. This project was originally scheduled in the <br />current CIP for 1998, however, Lot 1 of Block 1 is to be developed by A & R <br />Manufacturing. This firm needs its access off of 149th Avenue and wishes to be in <br />operation before 1999. Therefore, the project was moved to I998, and ordered by the <br />Council on June 16, 1998. <br /> <br />Bids are scheduled to be received at 10:00 a.m., on September 8, 1998.
