Incident Calls <br /> <br />The RAMSEY Fire Department responded to a total of 24 calls during the month of September. <br />The total incidents Y-I'D for 1998 through the month of August is 227. The breakdown of the calls <br />is as follows: <br /> <br />Fire Related 17 <br />Rescue/Personal Injury 7 <br /> <br />A detailed report of the incidents is provided later in the report. <br /> <br />2. Training <br /> <br />The following training took place in September: <br /> <br />09-'02-98 Scene SetupNVater Relay 3 hr. <br /> Anoka Technical College Staff <br />09-16-98 EMS Oxygen and Airway Management 2 hr. <br /> Medics Training <br />09-23-98 Major Maintenance 2 hr. <br /> In-House Staff <br />09-30-98 Pump Operation Testing 3 hr. <br /> Anoka Technical College Staff <br /> <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The following training is planned for October: <br /> <br />10-07-98 Knots and Ropes <br />10-21-98 Defibrillator Refresher <br />10-28-98 Hose Testing <br /> <br />3. Major Maintenance <br /> <br />Tanker #1 had pump repaired, certified and is back in service <br />Handheld radio was installed in Tanker #2 <br />Govenor control and throttle cable was replaced in Grass #1 <br />Storz fittings on Engine #1 (front suction) and Tanker #1 (passenger side) have been removed <br /> <br />4. SCBA and Medical Supplies Used <br /> <br />SCBA <br /> Changed compressor filter <br /> <br />Medical Supplies used <br /> Defibrillator battery changed and inspected <br /> Ordered 6 pocket masks, one for each medical bag <br /> <br /> <br />
