On Oct 9th two stolen vehicles and 5 suspects were arrested after an alert citizen called in the license plates of two suspicious vehicles in his neighborhood. One squad and one officer were injured during a short chase of one of the vehicles. The radar trailer was made available by the Minnesota State Patrol and was used on several city streets during the month of October. 29th the Minnesota of Public Office of Traffic informed this that it On Oct Department Safety, Safety, department has been awarded a 2nd place prize in the 1998 Minnesota Safe & Sober Challenge. The prize will be in the form of a mini-grant for $1000.
