In I978, the City Council <br />issued a conditional use permit to the ~ehovah Witness Congregation to establish a church in the <br />commercial district. Now the church has a need to construct an accessory structure in which to <br />store thek lawn equipment. Expansion of a conditional use to include another structure requires a <br />new conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated the addition of the 192 square foot storage shed to the site <br />does not conflict with the 35-percent lot coverage restriction. The applicants are proposing to <br />side the storage shed with vinyl siding. The site plan shows that the shed is proposed to be 23 <br />feet from the rear or south property line and it is not clear how far it will be from Dolomite Street <br />or the west property line. Staff recommends that the conditional use permit requke the structure <br />be sited on the property in accordance with the B-3 Highway Business District regulations.
