Committee Action: The Road and Bridge Committee directed that Staff prepare a Request For Proposals on such a study and initiate discussion with the City of Anoka on cost sharing. Council Action: Motion to ratify direction of Road and Bridge Committee. 4) Report of Water Study Consultant Selection Process Staff reported on the process for selecting the consultant to perform the update of the water utility study. The proposed process will consist of two stages. The first stage has been to request a statement of qualifications from seven consultants which have expressed interest in performing work for the City in this area. After narrowing the number of consultants through an established evaluation process, Requests for Proposal will be solicited and oral interviews wilt be conducted. The consultant selected will be confirmed by the Road and Bridge Committee at their December 15 meeting. The Committee expressed satisfaction with this selection process. No Council action is necessary at this time. 5) Discuss Drainage Outlet for Business Park 95 The City was recently contacted by the City of Anoka requesting a statement of intent as to whether Ramsey may wish to utilize its storm drainage system as an outlet for the Business Park 95 storm drainage. It was the consensus of the Road and Bridge Committee that an alternative which would develop a storm outlet to the south would be more advantageous to the City since it would provide the opportunity to drain approximately 150 acres of commercial land along Highway # I 0. Committee Action: The Road and Bridge Committee directed Staffto add this project to the CIP. Council Action: Motion to ratify direction of Road and Bridge Committee.
