Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-11- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />FUNDING SENIOR HOUSING LAND PURCHASE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is in the process of acquiring saki property, known as the "Law" <br />property as the site of the new Senior Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funding for the construction of the building will be supplied through the <br />sale of tax increment bonds and HRA bonds, and I~ .c~ <br /> <br />amount , <br />Public Facilities Construction Fund, which allows for the funding of land acquisitions, to fund <br />the purchase price of the Senior Housing land. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby directs the Finance Officer to enter this budget <br />amendments into the City's financial records. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 24th day of November, 1998. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
