Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-12- RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO KUECHLE UNDERGROUND, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-21 (SECTION 28 SEWER AND WATER EXTENSION) WHEREAS, on October 13, 1998, City Council adopted Resolution #98-10-245 authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on November 10, 1998, City Council adopted Resolution #98-11-273 awarding the bid for the above-referenced work to Kuechle Underground, Inc. in the amount of $340,778.65; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Kuechle Underground, Inc. in the amount of $2,468.38. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Kuechle Underground, Inc. for the Section 28 Sewer and Water Extension (Improvement Project #98-21) in the amount of $2,468.38. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of December 1998. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the ~ day of ,1998.
