NONMAJOR SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS <br />Nonmajor Special Revenue Funds are used to account for revenue derived from specific revenue sources <br />that are legally restricted to expenditures for specific purposes. <br />Landfill Tipping Fee Fund — used to account for landfill tipping fees received by the City in accordance <br />with Ordinance 84 -14, Chapter 130.10 o f the Ramsey City C ode, a s authorized b y Minnesota Statutes <br />§ 115A.921 of the Solid Waste M anagement A ct. T his revenue i s for t he purpose o f m itigating and <br />compensating for local risks, cost, and other adverse effects of landfill facilities. <br />Community Development Block Grant Fund — used to account for all revenues and expenditures for <br />Community Development Block Grant activity. <br />Revolving Loan Fund — used t o a ccount for loans a uthorized by t he C ity t o pr ospective pr ivate <br />businesses in accordance with Chapter 469 of the Minnesota Statutes. <br />Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Grant Fund — used to account for all revenues an d <br />expenditures as sociated with the S mall B usiness A dministration N atural Resources D evelopment <br />Program Community Tree Planting Grant. <br />Parking Ramp Maintenance Fund — used to account for all expenditures that the City incurs to operate, <br />maintain, and repair the parking ramp with costs to be allocated to the affected users. <br />Future Sealcoating Fund — used to account for contributions from developers /owners for sealcoating. <br />Tree and Sod Escrow Fund — used t o ac count for esc rows co llected from d evelopers o r b uilders to <br />guarantee installation of trees and sod as required in city code. <br />Lawful Gambling Fund — used t o account for 1 awful g ambling r evenues received b y t he C ity as <br />authorized by Minnesota State Statutes Chapter 349. <br />Peace Officers Fund — used to account for post -board reimbursement and other restricted revenues which <br />must be used exclusively for in- service training and other expenditures as specified. <br />Developer's Fees Fund — used to account for demand fees that will be used for storm water management. <br />Park Payment Obligation (The COR) — used to account for park and trail fees collected in The COR <br />(previously known as Ramsey Town Center) Project area. <br />Ramsey Star Express Fund — used to account for all revenues and expenditures that the City incurs to <br />operate the Ramsey Star Express route. The Ramsey Star Express is an express commuter coach service <br />to downtown Minneapolis available until the Northstar Commuter Rail begins service. <br />General Govt Special Projects Fund — used to account for resources accumulated and expenditures <br />related to special General Government projects. <br />Park Fund — used t o ac count for resources ac cumulated to defray t he cost o f m aintaining an d /or <br />acquiring park improvements. <br />Trott Brook Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund — used to account for perpetual care fees collected on the <br />sale of cemetery plots in Trott Brook Cemetery. <br />Economic Development Authority Fund — used to account for revenues and expenditures associated <br />with economic development activities within the City. <br />- 87 - <br />
