June 8, 2011 <br />RE: Project Update for City Improvement Project # 10 -25; Chameleon Street Paving <br />Dear Resident: <br />City staff has completed all necessary field work for the above referenced project, and is <br />substantially complete with the final design. Construction documents are planned to be <br />forwarded to the City Council on June 14, 2011 to request authorization to solicit bids. We have <br />spent considerable time trying to improve drainage concerns that have been identified within the <br />project limits, but due to existing grades it has been extremely difficult to address all of them. <br />The City's engineering department will be holding an informational open house to familiarize <br />you with the current plans and issues we are facing in solving some of the drainage concerns in <br />the neighborhood. We will be available to answer questions, and individually identify the issues <br />we have encountered related to drainage. We can also provide you with an updated schedule for <br />the pending construction project.
