Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />Consider a Resolution Authorizing the Recruitment <br />and Hiring of a Temporary IT Intern <br />WHEREAS, the demands of the IT function have increased dramatically within <br />the city due to additional IT devises, software and social media; and <br />WHEREAS, the temporary IT Intern will assist the IT manager with multiple IT <br />related projects; and <br />WHEREAS, the funding for this position will come from the unused budget of <br />the retired Clerk Typist in the Finance Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to authorize the recruitment and hiring of a temporary IT <br />Intern. The hourly rate of pay is $10.00 to $12.00 per hour, depending on <br />qualifications. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 14 day of June 2011. <br />
