City's water tower at 14391 Dysprosium Street <br />N.W. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Antenna exhibits <br />Proposed findings of fact <br />Proposed conditional use permit <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />State law requires that properties within 350 feet of the subject property be notified of the public <br />hearing. Staff attempted to notify properties within 700 feet of the public hearing pertaining to <br />the request. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The site is zoned B-1 Business and so are the surrounding parcels. The applicant is proposing to <br />install a 6 foot diameter satellite dish antenna 6n the City water tower. There will also be a 6' x <br />2' x 2' equipment cabinet that is proposed to be stored in the water tower equipment room and <br />therefore no screening of the equipment cabinets will be required. There will be no personnel <br />stationed at the site on a permanent basis. The permit is drafted to require any visits to the site to <br />be in the company of a City employee. The existing site access is sufficient for PageMarts <br />needs. <br /> <br />The City Council approved the proposed lease agreement with PageMart at their July 28 Council <br />meeting. The City will receive $1,000.00 per month from the tenancy. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Applicant has met the application requirements of Ramsey's tower ordinance. City Staff <br />recommends approval of the request. <br /> <br /> <br />
