Outside storage as an <br />accessory use shall not include the display of <br />merchandise for sale, except as provided in Article <br />6. Vending machines permanently installed <br />against but outside a structure shall not be <br />considered an outside display, provided the <br />number of such machines is approved by the <br />Director. <br /> <br />*903 HEIGHT REGULATIONS <br /> <br />903.01 Itei~ht and Massin~ The height of ail <br />structures is limited by a series of allowable <br />dimensions as described below. Building heights shall <br />be determined based on the building plans and <br />contours as shown on the site plan submitted with the <br />application for a building permit. The applicant shall <br />be responsible for compliance with the height <br />requirements of this Section 903.01 and verification of <br />the field accuracy of contour data. <br /> <br />A..Overall Building Height. <br /> <br />The height of a building or structure, <br />exclusive of chimneys, antennas, steeples, <br />posts and masonry piers supporting decks or <br />patios, and flagpoles, shall be established by <br />an imaginary plane that parallels the existing <br />natural terrain, the maximum height of which <br />shall be no more than twenty two (22) feet <br />measured vertically from any point outside of <br />the building or structure where the face of <br />the building or structure intersects natural <br />grade, except as provided in Section <br />903.01A-4. <br /> <br />Small areas of rugged terrain inconsistent <br />with this plane shall not increase or reduce <br />building height. Small areas are those <br />features with a maximum width of twenty <br />five (25) feet. <br /> <br />The maximum overalI height of a building or <br />structure shall not exceed forty (40) feet <br />measured vertically from the highest parapet <br />or roof ridge to natural grade or £mish grade at <br />the lowest point adjacent to the building <br />exterior, whichever yields the greatest height. <br />For the purposes of calculating building <br />height, the minimum distance between <br />separate buildings shall be ten (10) feet. <br /> <br />City of Sedona Land Development Code <br /> <br />9-3 <br /> <br />January 1, 1995 <br /> <br /> <br />
