Each building over twenty <br />five hundred (2,500) square feet in floor area on <br />slopes over twenty percent (20%), or over four <br />thousand (4,000) square feet in floor area in all <br />slope categories, shall be composed of at least <br />three (3) visual building masses of differing <br />heights. Such visual building masses shall vary in <br />height vertically by a minknum of two (2) feet <br />from any adjacent mass or masses. To be <br />classified as a visual building mass, the mass shall <br />have a minimum depth and width Of ten (10) feet <br />or be one hundred (100) square feet minimum, <br />and be off-set horizontally by a minimum of ten <br />(10) feet. Depth and width dimensions shall be <br />measured perpendicular to each other. <br /> <br />the height of gable end walls shall be measured <br />from the midpoint on the wall between the <br />average top plate height and the roof ridge to <br />natural grade at its lowest point along the wall. <br />Additional height to a maximum of twenty two <br />(22) feet is allowed provided that the overall <br />building height is within the limitations of the <br />other governing criteria in this Section or <br />Section 905, and if one or more of the following <br />apply; <br /> <br />A minimum two (2) foot horizontal offset <br />is provided from the wall. <br /> <br />II I I <br /> <br />Ex. posed Mass Heigh__~. An exterior wall of a <br />building on any slope category shall not have an <br />unbroken height of more than twenty (20) feet <br />measured to the natural grade at its lowest point <br />along the wall.
