Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-10- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT # RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM JULIE KUCIA FOR A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT TO ESTABLISH A <br />DOG GROOMING BUSINESS IN THE SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT. <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Julie M. Kucia for a home <br />occupation permit to establish and operate a dog grooming business on the property generally <br />known as 165 t 1 Yttrium Street N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The north 200 feet of the south 405 feet of the east 220 feet of the Southeast Quarter of <br />Section 10, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota (subject to road easement <br />over the west 33 feet thereof). <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"). ~' .... <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That Julie M. Kucia, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", is a co-resident on the Subject <br />Property which is owned and occupied by David L. Kollins. <br /> <br />That the applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Sections 9.11.04 ('Home Occupation Permit) and 9.03.04 (Conditional Use <br />Permit) of the City Code on October 6, 1998, and that said public hearing was properly <br />advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of <br />these findings by reference. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is approximately'l acre in size. <br /> <br />That Section 9.20.11 (R-1 Rural Residential District) does not establish 'professional <br />services' as a permitted use of property in this District. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has provided documentation to support that the home occupation wiI1 be <br />conducted within the private dwelling on the Subj eot Property and that the area set aside for <br />the home occupation (188 square feet) does not exceed 20% of the total floor area of the <br />private dwelling (I,350 square feet). <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the home occupation will not include any employment of <br />persons not residing in the private dwelling in the performance of the home occupation. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that there will be no exterior storage of business equipment, and <br />materials. <br /> <br /> <br />
