Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />FrolikkPending <br /> <br />5/12/98 <br /> <br />Council granted final plat approval to Apple Ridge 5th <br />Addition and directed that the City's Public Works <br />Department install a gate to impede traffic, except for <br />emergency vehicles, at the intersection of 158th Avenue and <br />Potassium Street in the Apple Ridge 5th Addition, which <br />installation shall be at such time as said 158th Avenue is <br />accepted for use by the City. Director of Public Workshops <br />requested having input on the design of the gate. Execute <br />Development Agreement but amend it by adding that the <br />Developer shall deposit with the City, a non-refundable sum <br />of $1,500 to defray the City's expense of installing a gate at <br />the intersection of 158th Avenue and Potassium Street NW in <br />the Apple Ridge 5th Subdivision. <br /> <br />Walther/ 6/2/98 <br />Complete <br /> <br />The Planning Commission directed that Staff initiate the process <br />of amending architectural standards, suggesting research standards <br />in cities adjacent to Ramsey and also obtaining the standards from <br />Sedona, Arizona. <br /> <br />Frolik/ 6/23/98 With regard to the No Wake - Rum River - Council made the <br />Pending following motion - To extend the no wake to the Ramsey side <br /> of the fiver that does not interfere with Andover from our <br /> southern City limits to approximately 149th Avenue and to <br /> direct staff to prepare an ordinance to introduce at the next <br /> Council meeting reflecting the motion. Council also asked <br /> that staff continue to communicate with the City of Andover <br /> to establish their identified area number 4 (151st to 153rd) as <br /> a no wake zone contingent upon Andover eliminating areas 1, <br /> 2 and 3 from their no wake proposal. <br />Frolik/Pending 6/23/98 With regard to number of dogs one can have, etc. <br /> Councilmember Haas Steffen asked that the entire City be <br /> looked at - population wise, parcel size, etc. with regard to <br /> standards for the City. Andover agreed to eliminate areas <br /> 1, 2, and 3. Ramsey is pursuing a no-wake with Anoka to <br />·. cover that area between 139th and 149th. <br />Frolik/Pending 6/23/98 It was stated that the Planning Commission will be holding <br /> another public hearing with regard to the Comprehensive <br /> Plan.
