Absent: Chairperson Bawden. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCI~ MINUTES <br /> <br />The Planning Commission noted the following minutes: <br /> <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated August 25, 1998 <br /> <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated September 9, 1998 <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSI2qESS <br /> <br />Case/ti: Modifications to Diamonds Sports Bar Site Plan; Case of Gary Gruber <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wivoda, seconded by Commissioner Jensen, that Case #1 be tabled until <br />the applicant arrives. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Deemer, Commissioners Wivoda, Jensen, <br />Anderson, and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Bawden. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARI/slGS <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Deemer adjourned the regular meeting at 7:35 p.m. in order to conduct the <br />following public heating: <br /> <br />Request for a Home Occupation Permit to Establish a Dog Grooming Business in the <br />Residential District; Case of ~ulie Kucia <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Deemer called the regular meeting back to order at 7:44 p.m. in order to <br />return to Case #1, as that applicant had arrived. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS - Continued <br /> <br />Case/ti: Modifications to Diamonds Sports Bar Site Plan; Case of Gary Graber <br /> <br />Community Development Assistant Walther explained the owners of the Diamonds Sports Bar & <br />Grill, Inc., approached the City with a request for modifications to their site and landscape plans. <br />The first issue is the request for an accessory building on the site in which to store equipment, <br />primarily for grounds maintenance. The second issue is the landscaping plan. <br /> <br />Community Development Assistant Walther stated City Code restricts accessory buildings in the <br />B-3 Highway Business District to 30-percent of the gross floor area of the principal building. The <br />principal building exceeds 8,000 square feet in size and the 400 square foot structure will be well <br /> <br />Planning Commission/October 6, 1998 <br /> Page 2 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
