CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 22, 1998, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Community Development Director Cindy Sherman <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodr/ch <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:04 p.m. and led <br />in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Kathy Yamaguchi, 5991 - I48th Avenue NW, was present to dispute a utility bill. <br /> <br />It was noted that utility bills would be discussed under Case #2, therefore, Council would <br />deal with the dispute at that time. <br /> <br />APPROVEAGENDA <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich asked to add Case #10A: Minor Amendments to Building <br />Fasteners Agreement; and also Case #12: Approve Final Settlement of/Vi?RS Lawsuit - <br />closed discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas St&fen and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to <br />approve the agenda as amended. <br /> <br />City Council/September 22, 1998 <br /> Page 3 of 19 <br /> <br /> <br />
