Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-11- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT # RELATING TO A REQUEST FROM RENEE JULIANO FOR A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT AT 5163 i46TH CIRCLE N.W. WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application fi:om Renee Juliano for a home occupation permit to establish a one-chair barber shop within the dwelling on the property generally known as 5163 146th Circle N.W. and legally described as follows: Lot 5, Block 5, Rivers Bend, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property") NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating to the request are determined to be as follows: That on October 13, 1998, Renee Juliano, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", properly applied for a home occupation permit to establish and operate a one-chair barber shop in her home. That the applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on November 2, 1998, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of these fmdings by reference. 3. That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Urban Residential. 4. That the Subject Property is approximately .3 acres in size. That barber shops or beauty salons are not a permitted use in the R-I Urban Residential District. That the Applicant has provided documentation to support that the home occupation will be conducted within the private dwelling on the property, that the area set aside for the home occupation does not exceed 20% of the total floor area of the private dwelling, and the operation will not include any employment of persons not residing in the private dwelling in the performance of the home occupation. 7. That the Applicant will reside at the location of the proposed home occupation.
