CASE <br /> <br />UPDATE ON T.H. ~17 STP PROJECT (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-14) <br /> By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City was notified at the February Road and Bridge Committee meeting that it was successful <br />in its grant application for the T.H. ~47 STP Project. At that meeting, the City hired the firm of <br />SRF, Inc. to prepare plans, environmental documents, and professional services to take the <br />project through to bidding. Work on the environmental document has been initiated, and a <br />project path report has been completed and is attached. This report will provide a necessary <br />element along with the scheduled public hearing on Monday, May 4, 1998, which will allow the <br />City to conduct protective buys of needed property for the project. A letter, which is attached, <br />has been sent to all the adjacent property owners along the project, advising them of the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Staff has also sent out a request for proposals for land acquisition services.
